I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Microbiology at The Ohio State University. I graduated from Missouri Valley College with a B.S in Biological Sciences and minors in Chemistry and Forensic Science. I joined the Sullivan Lab in March 2021 and I am interested in investigating the vaginal microbiome and virome of pregnant women living with HIV and how specific taxa modulate low-birthweight and subsequent mortality of their HIV-exposed uninfected infants. I am also interested in developing strategies for phage therapy in spinal cord injury-induced gut dysbiosis.
